Notes for every call.

Send a notetaker to a Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams call. It joins when the call starts, and afterwards the transcript and a summary are waiting where your team already looks. The notetaker comes with the Team plan.

Send the notetaker

  1. Open the meeting on the Calendar. It needs a Meet, Zoom or Teams link in its video link, location or description.
  2. Choose Send notetaker. It is booked to join when the call starts; if the call has already started, it joins now.
  3. Changed your mind? Cancel removes it before it joins.

To send it to every call booked through a booking link, tick Send the notetaker to every booking on that link.

Where the notes go

  • On the event: the full transcript, with speaker names, and a summary.
  • On the email thread the meeting came from, as a note only your team can see.
  • In that thread’s Slack thread, when the thread has one.

The summary has three short parts, each only when there is something to say: decisions, action items with who does what, and open questions. It never adds anything that was not said.

If it could not take notes

The event says so, with the reason. A request is never dropped quietly: if the notetaker service is down, Nexmail keeps trying.
