Sell from your inbox.

Turn on the sales pipeline and the people you are talking to get a board of their own, with a stage, an owner and a next step each. Draft with AI comes with it, on every plan.

Turn it on

An admin opens Settings → Sales and switches on the Sales pipeline. Once it is on, the whole team sees the pipeline and the lead list.

Stages

Everyone on the board is at one stage: New, Contacted, Replied, Meeting, Proposal, Won, Lost.

  • The first email a person on your team sends moves someone from New to Contacted. Nexmail never moves anyone backwards on its own.
  • Everyone a campaign reaches lands on the board. A one-to-one email only adds people you imported or added as contacts, so answering a support thread does not fill the pipeline with customers.
  • Move people by hand from the board, the person page or the thread. Every move is kept on that person’s timeline.

Working the pipeline

  • Give each person an owner and a next step with a date. The Due tab shows what is overdue and what is due today.
  • Select several people to move them, give them an owner, archive them, or add them to a draft campaign in one go.
  • Archiving only hides someone from the sales lists. Unarchive brings them back, and nothing is deleted.

Draft with AI

With the pipeline on, the reply box and Compose have Draft with AI. Say what you want, such as thank them and suggest a call next week, and a first draft of the reply, the new email or the campaign appears in the composer.

  • It only writes text. It never sends, saves a draft or starts a campaign: a person reads it, edits it and presses Send.
  • A reply draft reads the thread you are answering, and only a thread you can open.
  • Everything you send still passes the pre-send checks.
  • Each person can ask for 30 drafts every 10 minutes. Past that, wait a few minutes and try again.
